These socks arrived quickly, as promised. The socks are incredibly comfortable, they fit perfectly, and as several have mentioned, they are not tight. The thickness is not quite as thick as I would want, but not as thin as a dress sock, probably somewhere in between. The colors are very nice, and I can't wait to wear them. These are the best socks I've ever bought. They were a little stiff out of the box, but after washing and hot drying they are soft and have retained their color, and more importantly have maintained their length. They are very comfortable. I have a 13EE foot and colorful socks are hard to find. Every pair of highly colorful socks I've bought before this have shrunk quite a bit in the wash. I hope the manufacturer expends its color choice (but no wacky designs, like pizzas). The colored ones I bought here remind me of Mondrian art. I do not think these socks are too thin. They are a medium weight and that's what I prefer. For super cold days I can wear my thicker merino wool socks. Thee socks should be ideal for most of the year here in the mid-Atlantic region. These are great socks. Comfortable, they should last quite awhile, and they look great. The socks did have a strange feature that took me a bit to understand. They have a reinforced area that I originally felt was on the wrong side and should be in the back of the sock. And then I got it. This is in the front as the socks normal slip down in the front and this reinforced area stops that from happening. Brilliant!!!!! What a great value for a great sock! Great for kid (9 yrs) who hates putting on his socks! The sock is durable and the extra material on top, in front, is a nice "handle" for aggressively pulling them on, without tearing. Easy to match. Very comfortable (sensory issues) and no complaints. These do not get "stinky" by end of the day and keep his feet dry. Warm enough for him to insist he "is warm enough" to wear with casual gym shoes in middle of a snow storm.
