The colors are really cute. The socks are warm without being overly bulky, making them great to wear under booties. Size medium fits me pretty well, just a tiny bit big but nothing too terrible (which is normal for all the socks I buy). I wear a size 7 1/2 shoe. Directions say to air dry, but I dry all my wool socks in the dryer, so I will throw these in too and hopefully they will shrink just a tiny bit. I have bought a lot of wool socks through the years and ended up throwing many of them out because they were itchy. These are not, at all! I bought these prior to a week spent in Yosemite. I knew we’d have varying weather and I didn’t have socks that might work for warm and cold - these socks fit the bill. On cold, snowy trails my feels were dry and warm and on warmer days and more vigorous hikes my feet were dry and did not become too hot.
