This is the best purchase I have made in a long time, yes it is a little bit pricey but well worth it. If you make a lot of ice cream like we do, it takes about 18 to 20 minutes for it to freeze and I can get three chairs made with one battery charge. I would recommend getting a lid with it. Purchased unit a month ago. First problem was I ordered Dewalt 20 volt received Makita 20 volt. Being impatient I purchased Makita battery and charger. Unit worked great on first time. Problem two: On second batch a week later unit would turn on but not run. Called company and they said they were having issues with brushes and sent me a return label. After paying $50 shipping and receiving repaired unit two weeks later it worked fine . Problem three: A week after making first batch the unit would not turn off and when turned off switch it kept running and started smoking. I pulled battery and it stopped. I’ve tried two batteries and with the switch off it keeps running. If you want $700 dollar ice cream this is the way to go. Junk Read more
