You would have to drill it out & then you would have to worry about getting little plastic shards stuck in the jets - so I didn't do it - but I am considering it! It works fine and has more jets than the one I replaced, but the other one had higher pressure - so just beware. First, this is a great shower head that is often less than $20. My family and I are very happy with it and would recommend to others. We did have one problem after around 6 months of use. The metal casing on the hose separated from where it connects to the shower head, leaving only a rubber hose for the water to flow through that eventually burst, causing the shower head to be unusable. I still give this five stars because problems are sometimes to be expected when you choose the lower price item.
