After struggling with cleaning up gel polish, I saw these and knew I had to try them. I thought there wasn't enough cotton on the ends when I first saw it, but after using them, I think it's good that it's thin so I don't accidentally wipe off the polish on my nails. I like that these are double ended so I get at least 2 uses out of each of them. I also like how they're packaged instead of all of them in one giant bag. This helps with storing it nicely. I'm sure these would be helpful for more than getting fingernail polish off of the skin. For nail polish though, they're a winner. I didn't notice any of the cotton coming off and sticking to the polish. I've even used this on my practice hand before my own hand to get some practice in, and it also worked great on that type of material as well. They aren't soft like regular q tips. These cotton swabs that are pointed truly make it effortless for getting detailed work done. They are small book pack of punch when you are able to effortlessly use these for Precision work. I can think of a few different uses, but the main use that I have had for them is cleaning up cuticles and skin around my nails when I’m trying to fix my nail polish. Because they’re so small they’re able to get in all of the hard to reach places a large cotton swab would struggle with. I like that they are double sided as I get good use out of one of them and typically need no more than two to do my whole set of nails as a not so great nail painter. These pointed tip, double ended cotton swabs are excellent for precision cleaning and detailed work. They are very small and narrow, which makes them ideal for tight spaces where regular cotton swabs are too large. I have used them to clean lint from my phone charging port, clean the inside of my sewing machine, remove debris from my laptop keyboard, and even fix a key that was sticking. The pointed tips make it easy to reach into small crevices and clean thoroughly. The quality is impressive. The sticks are rigid and do not bend easily, and the cotton tips are firmly attached. The cotton does not loosen or come off during use, which makes them much more effective than standard swabs. I have also used them to apply very small amounts of oil to specific areas of my sewing machine without over-oiling, which is a big benefit for maintenance. They are also great for cleaning around the nail bed when doing nail art. The only minor downside is that I wish the sticks were a bit longer to reach deeper areas of my sewing machine. Aside from that, they are nearly perfect. I plan to keep these on hand and will definitely purchase more. Until recently, I had no idea that this type of Q-tip existed but these are definitely handy for precision cleaning or applications. They are essentially like regular cotton swabs but with a minimal amount cotton material applied to the sharp pointed tips. These are great for detailed craft work or for certain cleaning applications but be aware that they will only hold a small amount of material or fluid. These are no substitute for regular cotton swabs so they should really be used where their finer points are beneficial to your task. I liked that they were package in smaller individual bags so that they can be easily distributed around your space. Being separated into 100 piece bags also helps to keep the bulk of them uncontaminated. At under $6 for 600 pieces, these are excellent value and so get a solid five stars. Read more

I got these for makeup touch-ups/precision cleaning, and nail polish correction, and after using them a few times I don’t love these. While yes, they are extremely precise, the thickness of the cotton is minimal. Just a very thin layer so not the best value for your money. The double-end precision tip is nice for not quickly getting excess nail polish or nail glue off quickly and without making a mess. I do like that the handle is durable and not flimsy if I'm gripping tight, and they don’t have that annoying stickiness or loose fibers that make regular swabs fall apart, so they don't the white fuzz in your lashes. Overall, these have quickly become my go-to everyday beauty and detail cleaning tool. Read more

I got these to use to clean up small mistakes while I am painting small designs on nails. The first thing I used one for though was to use nail glue to put a small rhinestone back in an earring -- it worked very well putting the glue only exactly where I needed it. (Unfortunately the nail glue didn't work with the rhinestone earring & came back out.) I've since been using them to clean up very small mistakes on nails and they have been working very well.
