The speaker on this is loud I was honestly impressed by the loudness and quality. The screen is small and I don’t like the endless swiping for me to access certain songs in my library. It is light weight, I appreciate the clip on it, I was looking for a digital audio player that didn’t have a bunch of distractions in the user interface. First it's fairly simple, the touchscreen works, the menus are easy to understand. It's not pretty but it's not the awful either, totaly serviceable. The buttons are great, you can turn off the screen and use the buttons. It's stupid though if you leave the screen on and use the buttons it unlocks the screen first (such as if you press the next song buttom). SO if you're running with it nad shuffling music it's fine though if you just turn the screen off. It has a bunch of cool little side features. Screen being listed as HD is kinda funny but whatever. The video playback needs to be very very specific format. They do provide software for it though. The real reason it loses a star though is my playback while running with wireless earbuds got randomly choppy. It works fairly good, but it cuts out now and then which is super disappointing. It's not unusable, and maybe changing where it's clipped could fix it so I will need to try some things out. If you use it while waking around the house it's fine but go on a run and try it out before you fully commit. On a good note the pause/next track gestures with my earbuds worked great. Read more

This is what we were looking for in a good cheap music player to avoid streaming services. For kids they really enjoy the small speaker, which of course does not have great sound, but allows them to share a song with a friend. Video is trash but that's to be expected from such a small device. The battery life is pretty good, lasting days of playtime for us. So far, after about 2 months of usage none of the ports have self destructed despite heavy plugging/unplugging use by impatient hands. Read more

It just doesn't work. when trying to connect it to my laptop it's so finnicky. I only got it to stay up for about 7 minutes after countless attempts of plugging it in and taking it out over and over. I know it's not user error because I also read the handbook and had someone who is an engineer try to help me do it as well with no luck. I haven't had this issue with any other mp3 players with the cords I'm trying or the laptop. After that one time of getting a handful of songs on it I was never able to get it to properly connect with a laptop again. Waste of money. Read more

This is a very good little media player. Very good player that is also a great value. Twenty years ago I bought a very good clip player for about $100. Now with this ODEJOI I get so much more for a mere, small fraction of that price. The world I must admit is a better place as this ODEJOI 64GB Clip now proves. Prepare to be happy. I am very impressed with the performance and capabilities of this media player. This player does so much, so well. It is at the top of the basic, low cost mini audio players. The distinguishing feature of this player is the clip which is large, strong and secures the player to shirt, pocket or sleeve and stays there through daily tasks, exercise or biking. Nice and convenient. This player is a light, portable and handy good sounding audio (and video) player. Good sound and a good resolution color touch screen. Good enough for pleasant presentation of album covers and clear menu lists. Touch screen is sensitive and responsive. Besides the clip, the other special feature of the Odejoi is the tactile buttons which make navigation through the menus even easier. It is great to have both touch screen and buttons to navigate. Very easy having both when hands may be wet, cold or clumsy. I do like buttons. The front mounted buttons work and scroll thru menus quickly and the side buttons control volume and on/off. The player also offers standard 3.5mm headphone jack and sound through a top mounted speaker. OK sound from such a small player. A handy option to have for quick listening. Bluetooth perforrmance is excellent with easy connection and extended range. This player has more range than my other players. Very happy with its BT range and solld stable connection to speaker and headphones. The battery life if this player is also better than average. It meets my 8 hour work shift or sleep schedule on one charge with hours to spare. Very good battery capacity. Charges fast via standard USB-C (charging cable included). This player has all the expected extra features including voice microphone recording, low resolution avi video play and FM radio, clock and alarm function, text reader and JPEG picture viewer. . This player plays most audio files from basic mp3’s to high resolution FLAC and APE files. This player did not play my ogg files. Nevertheless, I am very very pleased with the quality and flexibility of this player’s ability to handle my audio library. This is a good audio player and for the price, especially with the generous built in 64 gig memory capacity his ODEJOI is a real value. A well made, well designed audio player.
