65W GaN Fast Charger Block 3-Port USB C Wall Charger Compact Foldable Design Compatible with iPhone 16 15

This charging block is fantastic! I don’t have may outlets by my bed, and I have a ton of electronics to charge, so I am always loosing and switching out charging blocks and cables. I came across this 65W multi-output charging block and decided this might be a good thing to have by my bed. I can now definitely say it has solved a lot of my previous problems. There is an output for the old usb cables and 2 outputs for the new usb-c cables making it super functional. It can charge 3 devices at once pretty fast, or one super fast. You can use this for a MacBook as well, which is awesome. It fits in wall outlets nicely and is tight so it won’t fall out. It seems pretty durable. The wall outlet portion also folds in, so it wont get damaged or bent when traveling with it. The blue color with the whale design is also super pretty and a nice little touch that makes it different from other basic white charging blocks. And, it is compatible in price to other charging blocks, so I’d consider it a pretty good bang for your buck. This charger works great! The type A port can only do 15W realistically (5V @ 3A) It claims it can do 12V@1.5, but I'm not able to test with any device that can negotiate that on usb A. You'll realistically want to use the type C ports to fast charge your device. It does fast charge devices that support it. The charger isn't heavy, but you can tell there is a substantial mass within. The prongs fold out and in easily. The embossed motif is a nice touch. Feels like it will hold up quite well as a travel charger. When hooked up to my power meter, I am measuring an idle consumption of 0.1W. Assuming you never charge a device with it, this will cost you around $0.16 in electricity annually. I measured some other chargers and it wouldn't detect them. 0W. So technically this does waste a bit more power. But I'm not worried about the idle draw, you're getting a much better efficiency when charging a device. That's what GaN is good at. Though realistically on a phone charger you're looking at maybe a couple bucks saved per year at most. Read more

In the same size as most regular wall bricks for charging phones, this unit is noticeably different as soon as you pick it up. It weighs at least 4X as much as any other brick block you might have. When you're running higher currents, you'll want more robust components, and this thing fits that bill. It delivers super fast charging via either or all of 2 USB C + 1 USB A port. Super compact. Does get a little warm if you're drawing max power from all the ports simultaneously, but the design is robust enough to support it! Great functionality with the extra beefiness, you can even use it power small laptop computers. I have so many USB charging devices, from phones, tablets, flashlights, air pumps, smart rings, jump start packs, oh my, everything is USB nowadays it seems. It used to be a thing, where I'd hunt for a 2 AMP unit, and was thrilled to find them, now, with this charging brick, I can get up to 4-5 amps of current for a 5V draw device, like a phone. I got this charger block because I always have a ton of USB-powered devices I need to charge or keep powered and I'm tired of having to use multiple blocks all the time. This is far more efficient. I also wanted something I could easy drop in a purse yet not lose. So far this charger is great! I have used it for my Samsung Galaxy phone, guest phones (Android and Apple), plus lights, styluses, and other devices. When plugged into the USB-C ports my phone indicates super fast charging and does indeed charge fast. I haven't noticed any undue heat from the block, though there is some (totally normal). I don't usually have multiple things charging that draw the majority of the power so I can't speak to how it holds up with all three plugs engaged. I've not yet had a device fail to charge or seem to charge slower. The color and moulded pattern on this block makes it stand out and I love me a whale. It makes me smile when I go to plug things in.
