This is a great choice for people looking for a sturdy and versatile vlog stick/tripod, and are willing to live with a longer size when collapsed. I surveyed many options and picked this one for its versatile and sturdy phone holder. It's got a locking mechanism on the ball mount, the phone clamp, and the phone orientation. I felt very secure with my phone on the stick. The entire phone holder can be removed and screwed onto other tripods. One of the common complaints about other vlog sticks is the remote control: it's either easy to lose or has no replaceable battery. Not a problem for this unit. The remote control sits securely in its holder, and it uses the standard CR 2032 battery that can be replaced easily. The phone holder does not retract into the tripod, so it is longer than other units when collapsed. I found that to be a worthwhile trade-off for its benefits. The only real complaint I have is that the phone mount can wobble a bit, even if you lock up everything, due to the slight shift allowed among the extension rod sections. I like how easy it is to use as a selfie stick or a free standing tripod. The remote works well for taking photos and starting and stopping video's. It is sturdy and can handle a phone in a case with ease. Easy to pair with the remote on Bluetooth. CON: The base has a thin (from them leg to the base) that can break if you put pressure on it as this is how the leg hold it upright and with out them, it can tip over. So be careful with that when extending or placing down on the ground. Summery: Great tripod for what ever you use it for with care. The media could not be loaded. This is a good tripod for basic needs. It is adjustable and can adjust pretty tall (about 5ft). The phone holder is adjustable and can be turned landscape and portrait. It comes with a remote control, but I rarely need to use it. It is easy to set up and use and folds to a relative size to store/travel with. Things I would like the product to improve on: 1. When I stretch the tripod to its tallest setting, the tripod is a little unstable and even a gentle touch makes it wobble/move. 2. The supporting legs of the tripod is really wide, so it takes up a lot of space. The legs are also awkwardly situated and sometimes feel like it’s in my way. 3. The tripod is only adjustable to landscape in one spot, which makes it hard to set up the tripod the way I want it. Read more
