I recently installed the 7PM Rectangular Chandelier in my dining room, and it has truly transformed the space with its stunning design and elegant lighting. I added color changing Hue LED lights. It really makes the crystals stand out. They look great with any color or just with a normal light setting. The install wasn’t hard. The largest challenge is the fine tune adjustments to make it level and square at the end. The crystal installation takes patience and time but it is well worth it. For the quality it is a great price. The Hue lights I installed were more expensive than the chandelier. Read more
This chandelier is absolutely STUNNING! The brightness of the light shining through the crystals is breathtaking. The size is perfect for our 6 foot long table. The weight of each crystal/glass feels and looks like great quality. Absolutely a great value for the money. It does take time to assemble and attach all the pieces. Good: 1. Beautiful fixture. 2. Great Value for money. 3. Enough spare pieces. Bad: 1. The fixture is heavy even without the crystals. So hanging it up is definitely a two person job. Given the protudibg bulb holders right in the center, it is difficult to balance it on ladder or stool while trying to fix the frame/holder to the ceiling. 2. The outside row of rectangular crystals are not equal and some have very minute length differences. Pls refer to my photos. If that is something that will bother you, be vary. You can fix it by adjusting the the hook length but it could be very time consuming. 3. Hanging 170 strands of crystal will need atleast an hour or so once you get the knack. It didn't bother me much once i got a hang of it. Play some music/podcast and hang the crystals. Lessons Learnt/Tips that could make the install easier 1. Once you finalize the approximate height you want the light to hang at, coil & manage the extra metal wires with zipties to keep them in place. 2. The main power supply wire is quite thick and long. It is best to cut the extra length (after leaving extra inches for later adjustments of course). Otherwise the hanging plate will not have enough space to store all that extra couled wire. I tried without cutting the excess length and it was quite a task to fix up everything only to know that one of the wires got disconnected from power supply in the process. Had to uninstall, cut the excess and put everything back up. 3. DO NOT hang the crystals until you are happy with the height, angle, level and everything else. Once the crystals go on, every adjustment becomes 10x difficult. 4. While hanging the crystal strands, start from center inside. The crystal ball strand go in very quickly. 5. Try to maintain balance on both sides while installing the strands else due to the weight the light fixture may tilt to one side. 6. The outer rectangular crystal strands take longer and are not exactly same length. If it bothers you, you can fix it by adjusting the hooks. I left it because i thought it was too much work. 7. 25w light bulbs looked perfect to us. Tried 40w initially and it was way too bright. Additional Tip: I have ordered small lanyard hooks to add to the two crystal ball strands (40 strands out of 80) in the center to make it longer than the one outside, so that i get a tiered look. I will update the pictures, once done. I think the tiered look will take the light fixture up a notch. Hope this helps. Read more
