This fan worked perfectly for our smoke detector needs! Like many folks, we have a smoke detector that goes off at EVERY SINGLE MEAL due to it's location in our kitchen hallway. Infuriating to deal with. For the longest time we put up with a small fan on the floor, pointed up at the ceiling, to push the air away. Now, we have a mounted remote controlled fan that works perfectly. Easy to mount on the wall, easy to remove to clean the blades. Simply slides up and out of the mount. Can oscillate or leave it in it's current position. A note for folks - the lights turn off after a few seconds but the power stays on. Clicking it again will turn the lights on, then clicking the power button again will begin the power cycle (weak -> strong). PROS: - 4 speeds, with a timer function - Oscillation or Still mode - Relatively quiet - Decent air flow - Remote control - Common USB plugs CONS -Doesn't remember it's setting when turned off -Because of this, you must remember to click the ON button to your speed. Meaning: 4 clicks to get Full Power. This also means you must click multiple times to turn it off as it has to go through all the power cycles. -It doesn't lock in place when oscillation is off, so it's a little easy to knock it out of it's position. However, if you have this out of the way (like we do) it won't budge. -Must point the remote directly at it -Can't turn to be tight against the wall Read more

I was going to absolutely rave about this fan until it unexpectedly ran out of battery on my mail delivery route at work. I had the fan on High for about 4 and a half hours which isn't even the highest setting. It was claimed to last 8 hours by the manufacturer. That would even be ok with me since it's the most powerful and effective USB clip-on fan I've ever used. What really upset me is that when charging and using the fan at the same time, you can only use Low and Medium speeds. It's inexcusable to me that you can't at least use the High setting, which is by far the most effective and efficient speed IMO. Medium does not cut it on hot days. So you are stuck with an underpowered fan if you run out of battery and don't have access to an electrical plug. Other than that major letdown it's simply the best fan if you are a delivery driver inside of hot trucks with poor air ventilation and no AC. The clip is strong and surprisingly versatile to clip even in pretty small tight spaces. Even the low setting works well in cool conditions and is unbelievably quiet to the point you can hardly tell it's on, if it weren't for the breeze. The difference between Medium and High is huge in air flow and volume. But it's still not an irritating loud at all. The ultra high setting is simply pointless IMO because it will drain the battery in 2 hours or less. Should only be used for a quick cool down but it is impressive for an 8 inch fan. The only negative thing other than the overstated battery life is that this fan seems to do worse than most fans in outdoor settings in windy conditions. The fact that I'm still rating this fan 4 stars despite my disappointment with the battery issues should tell you how much I like this fan. These issues may be non-factors if you don't use fans for lengthy periods on high settings. Update: 7/16/2023 Found out you are only limited on fan speed while charging when the battery is very low. Which makes sense if there is not enough power to run the fan while low on charge. So at least you can get some extra time from the fan if you have it hooked up to a power bank with the fan charged. However it is not recommended to charge while using very often because it can weaken the battery prematurely over time. Also found out the manufacturer said 6 Hours on High and not 8 like I thought I remember seeing. So turns out their claims were within 1 hour of the times I experienced. So not too bad after all. I only wish the fan lasted a bit longer on the high setting. Which is the best setting for hot days IMO. Read more

We needed the fan to put in a corner of the bathroom and looks like they designed it specially for us. Remote control is a very welcomed plus. The device is silent, installation super easy, premium material, enough power for what we wanted. Read more

We've had this for about 5 months now. Tried another small oscillating wall fan with a battery in our bathroom but it had chronic charging/battery issues and quickly became useless. Then we borrowed another oscillating rechargeable fan that was in our living room that didn't seem to do well in the humid environment. This one is reliable and kicks out a great breeze with little noise, helping dry out our unventilated bathroom (assisting the small dehumidifier) and keeping it much more comfortable. I just hung it on one of the screws I'd put in for the previous one, but since this is larger than the first the oscillation range is limited. Over vacation I'll reconfigure the shelves to give it more latitude, but it's great even without that. Vertical adjustment range is good, sometimes I aim it at the floor to help dry the mat out. The remote is really handy, even in such a small room. I turn the fan off when I get in the shower so the curtain doesn't blow on me, then turn it back on immediately when I'm done. We don't store the magnetic remote on the front for some reason but we probably should, cats etc. One star off only because it is light (which I actually like) and I'm not sure how durable it is. But overall it's quite good and we've had no problems after five months of nearly continuous use. The cable is a traditional AC plug with a USB-C connector that goes into the back. It's more dependable than relying on a USB-C cable and a plug adapter. For some reason those have been flakier than the micro USB most of our devices use. Anyway, this is a pretty good value and I hope it lasts. Read more
