These work great for being book tabs, and I also use them stuck to seed tray covers so I can write on them what seeds I planted. Some of the colors are very similar though, and when stuck in book pages I sometimes get mixed up when color coding, but there is enough colors that I can group all the similar colors together as one thing and use it that way.
