This has to be the BEST electric shaver on the market! Over the many years of spending a ton of money for Norelco brand because it was supposedly the best. It’s not! My husband has always had a very heavy beard. He is 79 now and can not use a razor anymore because of his illness, and I would probably cut his face up. So I did some research on Amazon and came up with this brand! It is superb! It has all the power and shaves his beard off fast! Not that much irritation either! I highly recommend it! When I was younger, I used an electric razer exclusively. My first electric razer was a rotary style. I've heard and read that foil shavers such as this will give you a closer shave. I can't say that is my experience. I was perfectly happy with my rotary style electric razer. When my first one died, I bought another and was happy with that. But at some point, I tried a blade shaver. And I have used a blade shaver ever since. There is some pros of an electric razer over the blade. You can't really use a blade while sitting in traffic, even if you're not driving. I think clean up of an electric razer is easier than blades. The blades in an electric razer last much longer than a blade razer. I saw this and read the "Ultra-close" and "skin-friendly" points in the description. I read the "Luxury Leather-wrap" hype. I don't feel that my experience with this razor is consistent with the description. Even after adjusting the razer path angle and tilting the razer to ensure more contact, I am left with a lot of bristle and even some completely untouched whiskers. It didn't feel that the blades made contact with my skin, but after shaving with this razer, my face felt itchy. I rarely allow guests into my bathroom, where I keep my razer. I don't know how the look of a razer, or the fact that it's wrapped in leather is going to enhance a shaving experience. The case is nice, but it's only big enough to hold the razer and the battery charger. If you leave the battery charger at home, you might be able to replace it with a travel size after-shave bottle. But then you need to make sure you have enough charge on the battery. I seem to recall that when I used to use an electric razer when I was younger, I used a pre-shave and then an after-shave. That might have helped my experience with this razer. But that would be a different product review. And there isn't enough room in the case for both pre-shave and after-shave bottles -- even the travel size ones. Read more
