Feels silky soft under bare feet! I have had it in place for just over a month. Has a slight ripple near my sofa I may need to lift it to readjust but overall this rug lays flat. I bought a rug pad in the same size that looks to be slightly larger because it peaks out on one end so before I trim it I will double check the other sides for proper placement. This rug is well made. The edges are straight and securely bound. In one photo you can see the underside showing thickness and the backing. You will definitely want to add a pad for a more cushy feel. I haven’t washed it but vacuumed several times with no issues it doesn’t pull up or get caught. The color is called Dark Green but it also has subtle pops of other colors that add interest without making the pattern too busy. We have 3 dogs as seen in the pictures below. They wanted to help demonstrate how amazing this rug actually is! With that being said, it is really hard to keep a rug clean with 3 dogs from accidents, mud/ dirt, and cups spilling from wagging tails. Our old rug was not machine washable so we used a carpet cleaner on it every other month, but it definitely got to the point where it was not going to look or smell clean anymore. We decided it was time to replace the rug with a machine washable one. Since we are so hard on our rugs, we didn’t feel comfortable spending $500+ on a rug that we weren’t sure would last longer than a few years. After looking on Amazon, we came across this one. We loved the color, design, machine washing ability, and the price. Size: 8x10 is what we ordered, and it’s the perfect size. We have a small living room, but we know that when we move soon, it still won’t be too big or small. I checked to see if it fits in the washing machine, and it does! It is a tight fit, but it does fit. Thickness: It is a thin rug, but machine washable rugs usually are. If you are looking for extra padding or thickness, you can just buy a rug pad for underneath. We did that (as shown), but I think it would be just fine without an extra pad. Comfort: This rug is the softest rug I have ever stepped on! The material feels so nice. Stickiness: The rug has rubber on the bottom so it will stay in place well on the bare floor or on a pad. Cleaning: We have a Dyson stick vacuum with strong suction and a few different settings. On the highest and medium suction settings, the vacuum did catch the rug and stop spinning. On the lowest setting, it vacuumed fine. With that being said, if you have an upright corded vacuum the suction could be too powerful. Set Up- The rug comes folded, rather than rolled so there were some creases in the rug. We have a steam mop that has a ‘carpet’ attachment, and we were able to steam the creases right out. There weren’t too many creases, and I think they would come right out after being laid out and having furniture set on top. Design: The design is just printed on the top fibers, so hopefully it doesn’t fade over the years. I’ve been living with this rug with two matching runners for a couple of months and I love them. They are not particularly thick so easy to sweep. Very soft underfoot and they don’t shift around much on tile floors. They bead water so you can quickly wipe up spills. I plan on buying a larger one for my formal dining room. Read more

Pretty rug. Very soft on bare feet. Some was accurate. The print is just on the surface of the fibers. if you fold it you can see the inner fibers are just plain cream or white colored. I'm hoping the surface print is durable. Colors is not as brown/taupe toned as show., I was so hoping it was. It's more grayish/greige in color with some very pale greige/taupish tones in the center portion. The outer portion looks gray and cream. It's still pretty and worked with the taupe & Cream tones in our bathroom. I wish it had more of the brownish/light chocolate milk color as shown in the center flowered area as in the images. Very nice rug. Not as stiff as a regular rug but thats to be expected as it can be washed. Very soft and has some cushion to it. The back has a nice layer that helps it stay in place on the floor. Its a tad smaller than my previous rug we had in place so im not sure how true to size it is or if maybe it needs more time relax from being wrapped. Not enough difference in size to really matter, over all I feel it is a good purchase. Read more

I can’t attest to the durability as I just bought it. It is very soft, easy to sweep. It unfolded easily and did not have a smell. But… the color is off from the picture. Wish someone had described the color better. The distressed charcoal looks blue and the background is bright white. My walls are sage green. I will just use in another room. Read more
