The quality of this rug by ModernGrace exceeded my expectations. At less than $50 it is a steal!! Before it arrived, I was considering getting a rug pad since washable rugs tend to be very thin and lightweight, but decided to hold off. Am so glad I did because the rug is great on its own. What I love: ❤️ It looks very nice in my room. The green tone is much more subtle in person, than it is pictured in the product listing.. more like a shade of dark olive. The pattern doesn’t look cheaply laser printed on like I’ve seen on other washable rugs. ❤️ The corners of this rug stay down! It has a cushiony feel underfoot and is a lot heavier/ thicker than I expected it would be. So much so that I can vacuum it without it getting sucked up. ❤️ It’s so soft and plush. Bottom line: this is one of the best washable rugs on the market. This is a very good area rug for a number of reasons. First, this rug seems very well made. The edge stitching is strong and should never fray or cause any issues. The rug itself is low pile, but it feels very soft. There is no cushioning, but this rug feels very nice for bare feet. The rug has a mild distressed look, but it does not look like an old warn rug. The pattern on the rug looks good for a floor rug. The colors on the rug I got were much less vivid than the ones in the advertisement photo. The ad photo looks a lot greener than the one I received. To me this is not a big deal, but you may want to know that the colors can vary before you purchase. One of the best features of this rug is that you can wash it in a washing machine. This 5x7 rug is about the max size for a rug to fit in most home washing machines. The fact that this rug is not too thick is what allows it to be washed in a machine. I picked this rug up for our dining area and it has been such a nice addition to the room. It is really well made and has that soft underfoot feel that makes you want to walk across it barefoot. The no slip backing is a huge plus for us. It stays put even with the two Aussies racing around the table every day. The colors are muted in the best way. It blends into the space instead of taking it over and it gives the room a calm warm look. The pattern is not to bold and It has a little bit of boho mixed with a vintage feel because of the gentle washed tones. It works with just about any decor without trying too hard. My favorite thing is that it is machine washable. With two dogs that is basically a requirement and this rug makes it easy. It is low pile but still soft. I have good first impressions about this 5x7 area rug. The design has a vintage, slightly boho feel that is nuetral enough to fit into many different styles of decor. It's a subtle fit that doesn't demand attention. It’s the kind of rug that blends into a room rather than taking over. The rug is soft underfoot but it is not plush or cushioning. It's not that kind of rug. The low pile also means it doesn’t trap much dirt and is easier to clean. Roombas can easily drive over it and not get stuck. It is washable, but you'll need a front load washer or washer without an agitator, and like most washable rugs, it’s thin. If you want a thick cushioned rug this won't meet your needs. The rubberized backing does a decent job of keeping the rug in place on tile. It doesn’t shift around during normal use, though running kids and dogs can get it ruffled.
