“UFO LED High Bay Light 150W 120W 80W Adjustable, 3 Color Brightness Adjustable, 0-10V Dimmable, DLC/ETL Listed IP65 Waterproof Commercial Bay Lighting for Shop Warehouse, AC100-277V” I ordered this light for lighting up one of the garage bays at my home - the bay I use most for working on my vehicles. It’s also where I have my workbench. I used this UFO light to replace two LED lights I had that provided 10,000 total lumens of brightness. This light is much brighter. I keep it set at the maximum brightness of 22,500 lumens, and I have no doubt that it actually is that bright. I also keep it set at the 5,000K color temperature, although you can choose between 4500k warm white (WW), 5000k neutral white (NW), or 5700k cool white (CW). The 3 brightness settings and the 3 color temperature settings are easily set by sliding two switches into various positions on the top part of the light. Installation was a breeze after I screwed a screw hook into one of my garage rafters. The light comes with a hook on its top, along with a safety cable, which is also attached to the top of the light, just in case for some reason, the light comes off of the screw hook, then the cable will still keep the light suspended. After you hang the light by its hook, you simply plug its power cord into a switch controlled outlet (or you can cut off the plug, and hardwire the light). This is a high quality, well made light that’s advertised to last for 50,000 hours - many years. The light is also ETL (Electrical Testing Laboratories) certified for safety (similar to UL - Underwriters Laboratories certification). Read more

Got this light to work over my grill and It's nearly blinding! I really wanted a waterproof light in case I removed the canvas over my grills as we have a tendency to get a lot of snow over the winter. I had a similar light but it wasn't waterproof so I was nervous about it and the slight did not disappoint. Easy to hang. Easy to install and just works. You are definitely getting the lumens for the money even if you are paying a lot for those many lumens! And then this thing is heavier than you expect as it is built with a lot of metals to handle the lumens because of the heat. All in all I can't seem anything bad about this thing except for the weight and if I'm going to complain about that then I have to complain about it being too bright and I'm not going to do that! If you're needing to add more lighting to your shop or to your Warehouse this light is a good option. This light is very bright and definitely is better than having the old incandescent bulbs. This light is a very good option it is built strong has a sturdy aluminum frame and a heavy duty hanging hook. Another thing nice it just plugs right in don't need to hardwire it easy and very functionable. The only drawback is it needs to be installed a little higher than normal because if it's in the line of sight it's a little too bright. Read more

Wow. Plugged it in, and the light caught my left eye about a foot away. Whew, is this thing bright. See pic with bookcase - about 18 feet away. Assembly weighs in at 5 lbs, 1 oz. The full measurement of the face is 12.5" diameter; the LED portion is 8.5". The bolt threads are 1/2" long, and go into the top of the assembly. I'll set a hook directly into a ceiling joist for this to hang. The safety line is a nice touch. The full drop - without a 2d hook - is 8". There's adjustments for the lighting - Kelvin and Watts. Mine came configured at 5700K, 150W. See the pics for the adjustment panel, neatly tucked behind a screw-in panel (which they thought enough of to use a rubber sealing washer). I included the specs pages to help you pick the right model for your needs. The wiring is simple. Plug it in. Also has dimmer wires for you to run. Overall, I'm impressed. Building a two-room shop area. I'll be using these on both sides. Read more

This is my second 200 watt light, but it still shocks me everytime just how *bright* 200 watts is. Overall, this particular one seems to be sturdy and well-built. I do suggest you take advantage of the safety clip as I’ve already tried putting it in the wrong spot at least once and it saved me from a heavy (and burning hot) bump on the head. I appreciate the fact that it provides both a “wire it in” pigtail connector, as well as a normal 3-prong plug for those of us who don’t want to deal with rewiring things. Read more

This is a great light. Nice and easy to use. Has a cable safety strap as well. Comes with a cord, you can plug it into a switched outlet, or you can wire it into your house electric. There is a faint glow when turned off, but that's normal for LEDs, since they use such small amounts of electricity. Apparently, a better quality LED would have the circuitry to block that, but these don't need to be fancy, they just need to light the garage, and they do that perfectly. Even with the faint glow, I have no qualms about recommending it. Read more

I have a rather dim garage and I always work in there, usually just using the light from the open garage door. I got this and hung it in the garage from a hook and it vastly improves the amount of light in the garage. It's like a mini sun up there, bright seemingly directionless light with soft shadows. It's heavy duty feeling, I think cast metal, with a shortish cord and no switch. Plug it in and it's on. I used a power strip I had laying around to reach an outlet and provide a switch but will probably opt for something else as it's not ideal; It does need a switch or you'll have to plug it in every time you use it. It has variable color temperatures and brightness levels but only 3 pre-set options for each. All in all useful and easy to hang/ install with easily surmountable drawbacks (cord length and no power switch). Read more
