I lost my favorite pair of earrings a few months ago, so I started to look for something similar to replace it, and I had a lot of demands for it: 1) silver color; 2) something I wouldn’t have to remove to sleep or take a shower; 3) would not cause irritation to my ears (I became very allergic to metal in the past few years); 3) a clasp closure that wouldn’t poke me and would be safe (didn’t want to take chances of losing it again); 4) pretty, of course; 5) small (my hair is super short, so I didn’t want a large hoop) and not too heavy; 6) of a certain quality, that is, wouldn’t start peeling after a week; 6) I didn’t want a round hoop, and 7) I wanted something of a reasonable price. For my great surprise (my expectations weren’t great) this one checked all boxes! I got it a few weeks ago. It’s very pretty, the clasp is great, it doesn’t weigh too much, Ive been using non stop and still looks great. More importantly, it didn’t cause any allergic reaction. Outstanding quality for the price. Very smooth & shiny gold finish looks rich and elegant. Excellent, well working bottom hinge Huggies, snap post catch works well. Medium weight is comfortable and puts these in the “Companion Class” of earrings. They let you know you are wearing them with a moderate, gentle, pleasant tug and swing. Packaging is great and very suitable for gifting. Not suitable for extremely active wear as these will NOT automatically release if they get caught or pulled, they are highly secure. I purchased the gold and the silver chunky smooth rounded earrings. These earrings are perfect in every way. Size is elegant and can be worn with any attire. The weight is also nice. My ears are stretched at the ends and these do not show that or add to it. The colors of the gold & silver are spot on (believable); absolutely love the width of these earrings. They don’t bother my allergy to metal either which is a plus. But my favorite is how easy they are to put on. The hinge makes it so much easier to close … you just close & hear that ‘click’. No pushing, fishing to find the opening and then pushing down while bending the metal. Very impressed overall with the quality, style, functionality, color, sturdiness and price. Highly recommend.
