Years ago, when I worked in daycares, I’d see sooooooo many little bums with diaper rashes. It would be so hard to see them hurting and even harder to clear up. I also saw a lot of parents sending creams and medicated powders to remedy this issue. If anything, those items can worsen a rash. My sister taught me to use A&D ointment, not cream, and now with my own baby, it’s still working like magic! 18mos in and we have never had a diaper rash. TIPS: 1. During a change, make sure baby’s bum is clean. 2. Make sure baby’s bum is DRY after wiping. 3. Apply A&D ointment to the entire area and buttocks. 4. Do this for every diaper change!
