I was skeptical of this (after all, original AnD is a truly remarkable classic, and why ‘fix’ what isn’t broken?), but I ended up loving it. It really does seem to do a number on diaper rash just overnight. Not completely gone, but no longer so irritated and inflamed that my kid can’t even stand to be gently wiped. Basically, when there’s no diaper rash, I put regular A&D on with every new diaper. Then when there is diaper rash, I use this particular A&D with every new diaper until the rash is gone. It also has a very nice, not overly-intense lavender scent which I am surprised I like because as a sensitive skinned parent to a sensitive skinned kiddo, normally I am like, “seriously? This diaper rash ointment is excellent. It soothes the skin quickly and provides a strong protective barrier overnight. I noticed a clear improvement by the next morning, even with more serious irritation. The texture is thick but easy to apply, and it stays in place without being greasy. This stuff is amazing. Our girl broke out in an Amoxicillin rash and was miserable, she has allergies and bad eczema so we always have Aveen Eczema cream on hand but it didn’t help. I ordered this same day, it showed up around 3pm, I applied it immediately and it seemed to help relieve the itchiness. I reapplied it again around 8pm for bedtime and she woke up 90% better! When my son was a toddler he also had a reaction to amoxicillin but I didn’t know about this and his rash lasted days, as our toddler has eczema and allergies I was prepared for the worst but this is apparently a miracle worker. She even had bumpy/dry skin on her tummy that never cleared up but her stomach is completely smooth now. This is going to replace her other lotions and become our new go-to. Read more

We've used regular A&D for every diaper change with two children. It is truly a miracle in preventing diaper rashes. I thought we'd try this "overnight healing," type and haven't been as satisfied with it. It smells a million times better, but we've seen a small rash for the first time in 10 months with our youngest baby.
