The Pros... High Quality Leather- As new Leather it is firm but not overly so; should break in quickly; the stitching is superb... be kind to this jacket and us good leather conditioner on it.... The measurements- the measurements matched what was posted by the seller. I bought a Medium and it fits me as well as can be expected... I like my jackets to be slightly “roomy” for [1] shoulder/arm movement and [2] to layer up, when necessary, in the winter (I live 90 miles from Canada in eastern Washington state)... I am 5'6” tall, 40” chest, 32” waist..... Great Zip Out Liner- Removable liner is a nice addition for more warmth, but can be removed for warmer weather; also the liner includes the sleeves to help keep your arms warm. This jacket will keep me warm at least to 20 degrees without layering up (coldest weather I have worn it in to date)... Has an interior Conceal Carry Pocket- that pocket has a “holster” (more about that in the Cons); is well sized and, of course, can be used for other purposes. Conceal pocket is secured by snaps. The jacket also has an interior cell phone pocket (that pocket is in the removable liner so comes out with the liner)... Zipper are High Quality- Very sturdy zippers. I love the zippers on the lower part of the sleeves making it very easy to place over your gloves or mittens and keep unwanted air out; Also the Snaps on the lapels are also high quality... The Style of the Jacket- the A&H Jacket “Brando” style motorcycle jacket but does not have epaulets, the “coin pocket” on the lower left side, or a belt on the front half of the jacket. For me anyway, this gives the jacket a much “cleaner” look; I am old enough to remember when having a coin pocket was useful in the days of pay-coin phones and coin parking meters; and placing one's motorcycle gloves in the snap down epaulets... and the belted front to keep air from coming up into the jacket when bike riding... so they had/have their purpose... The Price for this High Quality Jacket- I probably like this best of all; but really it is all the above... The Cons... Phone Pocket- as stated above, comes out with the removable liner... Holster in Conceal Carry Pocket secures a pistol, it is about 3” high, 3 ½ “wide at top, 2 1/2” at the bottom and does have plenty of room, but does not have a securing loop to place over top of pistol handle to prevent movement of gun in the pocket (like on some other conceal carry clothing [Kakadu for instance]); I took the holster out with a stitch ripper and will use my own removable pocket holster.... but it is a nice large pocket and I can use it in various ways now.... Side Belts- allow you tighten the bottom of coat but though there are three holes on the belt, can only use the first two for adjustment as using the third hole just makes the belt more loose as the middle hole expands the side of the coat as far as it can be expanded... that third hole serves no purpose, none... For me ONLY (and other short people) the Sleeves are a little long, but that is not a fault of the Jacket... as most jackets have “long” sleeves for those of us who are vertically challenged... Also the length of the coat as a “motorcycle jacket” is a little long for me, but with no front belt that is a moot point and I enjoy that “extra” length on all my coats (on my 5'6” height)... Summary- This A&H Apparel Mens Leather Motorcycle Jacket Genuine Cowhide Zip Out Lining Jacket is a great jacket... the leather, zippers, snaps, a nice clean styling, three outside pockets (two side-hand zippered pockets and a zippered left chest pocket) and two inside pockets, a nice removable liner... and all at a great price. I recently returned a similar jacket, because it just didn't feel right. However, I knew this was the one immediately after putting it on. The material is better. It fits better. The button snaps and the zippers are better. This thing is sturdy and well made. While the liner is a bit thin, it is still a nice touch. The shoulders are designed to give room for stretching your arms forward, making it a functional jacket, not just stylish. Oh, and the only smell is... leather. No weird fishy smell. You know the one I'm taking about. I do wish the inside phone pocket was bigger. That's a really minor nitpick though, as I'm just going to put my phone in the huge gun carry pocket. Honestly, all the other pockets have plenty of room for my phone anyways. Side note: The size chart is very accurate. Take the time to measure yourself, and follow their sizing instructions. This jacket surprised me with its quality. First things first, it is heavy and the leather is thick - which could be great if you are often on a bike. The jacket keeps you warm, especially in rainy and windy conditions. It has a detachable lining which makes it really versatile. The outer leather is really high quality. No inconsistencies in the grain. Everything is top notch. One thing to keep in mind: it runs small, so if you are looking at the size charts on Amazon, order one size bigger. According to those I was size M, but when that one arrived, it was really small on me, so I had to return it and order an L (and pay return shipping!). Other than that, shipping was lightning fast. I really like that the jacket has that classic biker design, but puts its own spin on it, especially around the shoulders. Very happy with the order. The leather used is great quality, especially for the price. The arms are a inch or two too long for me. But that can be easily fixed. The jacket is warm and has deep pockets. The removable liner is a nice touch too. Overall, I am quite pleased with my purchase. Read more

After trying 4 other jackets. This one is the closest to a $500 jacket I tried in Paris in a leather store. In fact it fits better. Soft but tough leather. I am 5 11 165 with a granddad belly. The jacket makes me look and feel like a dude. I wanted a shorter jacket that did not hang down in back. The medium is perfect in every way. I did not want the epaulets and half belt. I bought this for my husband. Using the sizing chart with the description, I ordered a Medium. It fits snug, but not tight. It is a heavy jacket, especially with the lining. He doesn't ride anymore, but he really likes it and it is good for cold weather. Since it is a motorcycle jacket, the sleeves are a little long for him, but that is just the way it is made. The quality, comfort, and style surpasses similar jackets at three times the price. He would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes that style of jacket. Read more

This is an amazing value! Heavy duty leather with heavy duty zippers. I live in Louisiana and have little need for the liner unless motorcycling. It’s going to be a bit too warm for some months but at this price it’s a great early spring, late fall and winter jacket. It’s definitely a retro style which I like.
