I've been using rechargeable batteries from various brands for decades. These Granicell AAA rechargeable batteries seem like a high quality battery. I recently purchased some LED candles that take AAA batteries, so needed to increase the rechargeable AAA batteries I own. I searched Amazon and when I saw these with the good reviews, AND that they were priced under $9 for quantity 16, I ordered them right away. They were mostly charged, but I topped them off in my chargers just before use (I have a two chargers that charge 8 batteries at once). These are performing well. Stay away! These will not hold a charge. And even some of the ones I hadn't used yet are completely dead and will not charge. I'm very disappointed! UPDATE: I discovered that the batteries weren't seating properly in the charger I was using. Pilot error! Now that I've figured that out, they charge as expected and seem to be holding a charge well. So I'm updating the rating to a four. I also wish the report that the seller reached out to me to address this issue in a prompt manner. Good on them! Read more
