I have found these coasters to be excellent. They are absorbent cotton, and are perfect to keep water from a sweating drinking glass or can from pooling on furniture. They are a good size and thickness, just right for a drinking glass, standard cup or soda can. The coasters have a good firmness and will support what is put on them. They absorb drips, "sweating" and minor spills easily. They clean easily with a wet sponge---I would not suggest throwing them in a washing machine. They are very attractive, nice colors, look good.
