I’m obsessed with this. It goes on like a lightweight tint but somehow evens everything out without looking like makeup. The finish is natural, not greasy, and it actually stays put through a full day of toddler chaos and Atlanta humidity. Bonus: it doesn’t clog my pores or settle into lines, and the mineral SPF 50 is a huge win for sensitive skin. If you want something that feels good, looks fresh, and protects your skin all at once, this is it. Read more

It’s awesome. It doesn’t cake up on your face. It leaves a fresh glow. It doesn’t dry out. You don’t have to use a lot so even though it is quite expensive, it really does end up costing the same at the end of the day. I totally lucked out with Black Friday, and so I bought 3. 👍🏻👍🏻😝 Read more

I really wanted to like this tinted sunscreen. Not only does it have clean ingredients, but it didn’t cause my skin to flare. There was absolutely zero piling when I used it over my moisturizer. It didn’t make my skin feel tight or oily. It also did not cause my eyes to burn while wearing it and sweating. However, this definitely isn’t for those with a more porcelain skin people. This has a very yellow undertone on my skin so I did end up using a little foundation over it to correct the yellow undertone. My teenage daughter is more of a light/fair skin tone, and it actually looked flawless on her. So she has actually been using this. She has acne prone skin and it hasn’t caused her to break out which is a huge plus. Overall, I really did like this product, but unfortunately it gave my skin a yellow hue. However, my teenager loves this and it is her go to sunscreen. Read more

I was excited to try this. The bottle is small. I like that it has SPF. With that said, this skin tint works way more like normal sunscreen than an actual tint. If you're hoping this will replace your makeup, maybe look elsewhere. I think the color itself is lighter than I expected, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt, because that could be a computer screen color representation issue. The tint coverage is minimal, so I think it was intended mostly as a sunscreen. It's sort of shiny, which I don't like. I tried applying it under my eyes, and it doesn't even cover the dark under the eyes at all. It still shows through, and I don't even have such a bad case in the first place. Maybe I've misunderstood the product, but at this pricepoint, I was expecting better coverage. I probably wouldn't get this again. Read more

I was very excited to try this Tinted Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 by Pur because it is using zinc oxide rather than chemical sunscreens. The product arrives boxed with no security sticker, and the bottle inside contains no security sticker either, so hopefully the brand will address this in future. When I first used this product, I loved it, even though the shade I chose is a little off. The shade colors shown on the product page seem to be appearing a little lighter than they actually are. I ordered the MN3/linen, which is a tad darker and more yellow in person, and immediately wished I had ordered the bone. Regardless, I was pleasantly surprised by the coverage this product gives, and it is buildable so that more can be applied where needed without looking odd. I also love that it leaves a matte finish and does not feel heavy or draggy on the skin. Unfortunately my face started breaking out by the 4th day of using it. In looking at the ingredients, I was shocked to see that this formulation is using five different kinds of silicones. Silicones form a protective film on the skin and this helps to keep moisture in. The problem for me is that it doesn't seem to allow for bacteria and dead skin cells to escape, so my skin always breaks out when silicones are prevalent. It's very frustrating because this sunscreen has some excellent skin friendly ingredients that are beneficial like niacinamide and retinol, but I can't use it due to all the silicones. Currently this cream is selling for $38. It does work to protect against the sun, it has beneficial ingredients and it is made in the USA, so I do think the pricing is reasonable even though it's not for me. Read more
