this isn't a great controller, or purchase.
i usually don't leave reviews for these kinds of third party knock offs anymore, but i became way too curious to see if ps5 versions had improved to some degree. they have not, and why would i expect any different. and from what i've seen many of these ps5 controllers are ps4 versions made compatible to work with ps5 games. small review but i need to be blunt and honest. this controller is terrible. it functions, it works, but this is all the praise it will receive. the audio through the head port tends to cut in and out like its trying to keep itself from disconnecting. the l1, and r1 buttons will stick in place, feel cheap and are wobbly. the battery is a lie, it usually last 6-7 hours on a good charge instead of the advertised claim. the touchpad itself has a difficult time registering certain gestures, negligible but it's worth pointing out. deal breaker for me is the dpad itself. it wasn't great to begin with but as of the time of leaving this review, it no longer registers button presses from the left side. it will continue to hold itself as if i was holding down the button, and i can physically feel the right button doesn't push when i tap the direction. I'm not going to bother tearing it apart knowing full well the other problems i addressed. this is coming from owning the controller for at least three months, from a real user. Read more
