First thing my 8 yr old daughter and I noticed after opening the box it came in was the nice soft feel of the material. Fits all of my girls 3rd grade school supplies and my daughter had fun organizing her pens and pencils in the separate pencil bags that come with it. My wife packed a nice size snack/lunch in the thermal lunch bag too. (Bag of chips, cookies, caprisun and ice cooler block) my daughter has only used it for the first day of school so far but it seems to be a well made back pack with enough storage for a 3rd grader school work. Only thing I’m not sure about is how long it’s going to stay nice. Hopefully it doesn’t take on stains really easily and it doesn’t start ripping and falling apart. But it seems to be a well made backpack. A little on the small side if your looking for a backpack to fit lot of stuff in like several outfits this might now be the one for you. It’s perfect size for K+. The material is very durable and soft! The straps a padded for comfort. It’s big enough to fit folders and binders inside. The water bottle pockets on the side are perfect for a regular size water bottle or kids cup. I use the big contigo cups for my daughter and it’s a tight squeeze but it does fit! The lunch box is great size & insulated! And the pencil pouch is a nice little bonus. My 5 year old is so excited to start kinder with her new backpack! Read more

I ordered this backpack for my 1st grader and she loves it. It has a double zipper to open from any direction and it has multiple pockets on the inside of the backpack that keeps all materials organized. The material is water resistance protecting from any spills! It also has a detachable key ring for house keys inside the large pocket. The only down side is the cup holder does not fit her 20 ounce Stanley cup. It isn’t a deal breaker for us. Read more
