Rips easily

What a terrible product, good luck getting it on without ripping it or tearing a hole. I bought two, one for each new twin mattress I bought. I managed to get one on with just a minuscule tear, a friction tear from barely sliding it down against a wall so as to lean the mattress on the side. Keep in mind this cover encases the whole mattress, so you need to gently slide it on. The second one tore as the plastic caught onto a light switch. I wasn't being rough, I had very good control of a light weight twin mattress. I doubt this will hold up at all. I know my kids (ages 6,4,3) will sit on it once and this thing will bust at the seam. I told my husband to buy a nicer quality one but Noooooo ... now we will spend double on buying another cover. Save your money. Get a different brand with a heavier weight. What I did like about this cover is that is encases the whole mattress. The plastic seems nice but is too light weight unfortunately. It does smell strongly of plastic. Read more
