Not sure on the noise reduction portion but its a solid clamp and works well connecting my exhaust fan and the charcoal filter. been sitting solid for a few months now and unless the fan is running at 80% or higher you don't hear anything in the room or while walking past it. It doesn't obstruct the airflow and I feel like its pretty durable and will outlast my filter. Read more

A MUST have to connect filter and fan!! Never again will I use duct tape!!! Took forever to get the already sealed tape off my filter/fan. Clamp was easy to install & fits like a glove. And it definitely reduces noise! It's not going to silence the fan; But I can definitely tell a "significant" difference! Can turn the fan up higher before hearing it as much, and even then it's still quieter than before. Read more
I got this for a 4" exhaust fan in a small grow box and it works great. I have it in between the fan and a carbon filter. The rubber is very thick and does a great job of reducing noise from vibrations of the fan. The clamps that come with it are solid and keep a tight seal on the fan and filter. All of their products are fairly priced and this is no exception. Quality product at a great price makes this a must have. Nothing to dislike about this product whatsoever. Read more

Definitely needed.If you want to secure your inline fan to the filter without using tape. Works well super functional, easy to install it's only two screws. I believe it is a bit pricey though. Read more
