Middle Ground for Gamers who want Ergonomics without hefty price tag

ShadowRavenAMPDecember 21, 2025

If youve never used a mouse like this, I believe after a day you'll probably like it. I like not having my wrist curled as it would be on a standard mouse. This mouse is lightweight and better for your wrists. I'd argue its nasty as fast if not faster as any other wireless mouse at there. I've used it for gaming without issue. I'm not a competitive gamer though but the disclaimer is generally wired always beats wireless in that realm. Sometimes I like to lift the mouse, but end up changing tabs while I'm getting used to the new layout. The circular knob on the top will change tabs for you. It's super easy to switch between computers too. Two clicks on the mode button and that's it. I can't speak on longevity, but I'd imagine it'll last as long as we take care of it. Bluetooth is strong enough to be a 10 feet from the receiver - helpful for me as I use my TV as my computer monitor. Read more

A decent budget mouse with some high end features

DborkerDecember 3, 2025

I spend many hours a day on a PC/Laptop. I work in IT and I spend a lot of hours at home on my PC afterwards. I have different mice for these different purposes. For my workstation, my daily driver is a logitech MXMaster 3s, and its an amazing mouse. I also travel a ton, and since I tend to work in warehouses, I actually prefer my track pad over trying to carry a mouse (I tend to be working on my small travel laptop standing alot). While at home, I currently use a logitech g502 hero. I'm on my second of this mouse (the older versions were actually much better), and previously used several razers. So suffice to say, I feel, I have a ton of time on mice for productivity, to gaming, to web browsing. My wrists also feel this. Onto the Acer Ergonomic mouse. The features are great, and I love the button placement. I really like sidescroll wheel functionality versus my logitech, and the push button to change what the the wheel is doing (tab changes, versus zoom, etc). And I feel the weight is good once batteries are added. The forward and back buttons also feel perfectly placed. For a $30 (at the time of writing) mouse, these features feel premium. But, I can't help the mouse itself feels a bit cheap. It just doesn't feel premium like my logitech mice and my razers before it. But its not at a premium pricepoint so thats fine. I also find when cold (my northern desk gets chilly in the winter and it can change the feel of peripherals [tip get a heated desk mat]), the mouse feels very slippery. My two biggest gripes with the mouse itself are: 1. Responsiveness- I can definitely notice a slight delay in responsiveness versus my other mice whether wired or wireless. Theres just a bit more stutter before the start of the motion. For productivity applications, this is perfectly fine and acceptable. And my travel mouse suffers from every similar issues. 2. Ergonomics - So this is the point of this mouse, but I just couldn't' get used to the ergonomics. I can see how this would be less impactful for your wrist, and better for you. But having used a standard mouse for the last 20+ years, the pinch kind of feel of this mouse makes my precision feel off. I found my mouse movements to be less accurate regardless of wait time. I just wasn't confident in my mouse placement, which led to many delayed clicks and waiting extra, repositioning, just to do something that was second nature before. I'm sure if I spent more time on the mouse, I might get used to it. But, when my daily work life depends on using a mouse, I just couldn't get used to it. I tried it for 2 days and moved back to my logitech. To be fair that mouse also costs 3x as much. I will probably move this mouse to my other office and use it when I work from there over my travel mouse that currently sits there. Read more

Comfortable, affordable, great function mouse!

Melanie Gibson-ZachariasJanuary 1, 2026

So far, I love this mouse! It is very comfortable for me to use. The Dpi setting is very easy to navigate between. I didn't realize that one of the features was for horizontal scrolling (I use spreadsheets a lot for work and this is a BIG plus for me!!). Overall, for someone who works on a computer all day, everyday, it is very comfortable and the functions are a plus for me. Read more

Not for large hands and loses connectivity quickly.

TLDecember 30, 2025

Mouse loses scrolling capability or goes to sleep if the mouse doesn’t move in like 5 seconds. Bluetooth is iffy, sometimes it connects instant, sometimes you have to change connection modes to get it working. Mouse is small on my large hands. Otherwise I do like the matte finish, it’s not rubbery like other mice. Read more

Nice inexpensive ergonomic mouse, if you have small hands

Stephen SherrardNovember 23, 2025

I love the vertical ergonomic mouse, and have been using the Logitech MX Vertical for several years now, so that's what I'll be comparing this much cheaper Acer mouse to. First, obviously, it's about 1/4 of the price of the Logitech MX Vertical, so it's great value for the money, and has very similar functionality. However, it was just too small for my hands. I don't have super large hands (I don't use XL size gloves), but this mouse just felt way too small for my hands, especially compared to the Logitech that I'm used to. NOTE that is you look at reviews of the Logitech, you'll see that some people think that mouse is too large. The good news is that my wife loves it. It fits her hand much better than mine, and she liked it a lot better than the "curve" type mouse she was using before. The construction feels a bit cheaper than what I'm used to with the Logitech. It's all smooth plastic that you may or may not like. My more expensive Logitech has a rubberized/textured surface that I like better (or that I'm just used to), so the Acer felt a bit too slick for my taste. I have a big Corsair gaming mouse pad the I like, but the friction from the bottom of the Acer was a bit more than I'm used to with the Logitech, requiring a bit more effort to move the mouse around quickly and accurately. Again, probably a personal preference and I'm used to the way the Logitech feels. Connection via the included dongle was quick and easy. Nothing to install. Pretty much the same as the Logitech. I always use the dongles, as those are a bit more responsive than Bluetooth, so I didn't try connecting any other way. There may be some software you can download to customize the buttons, but I didn't look for any, as I usually just use the defaults. The mouse uses two AAA batteries, which can be a plus or minus. We use rechargeable batteries in our house, and this mouse worked fine with those. The good thing is that if you run out of power, you can just swap batteries instead of having to plug in to a USB port to recharge (like the Logitech, although I have never run into that situation). The storage slot for the USB dongle is inside the battery compartment, which is a very nice touch so that you don't lose it if you are travelling with it or swapping between computers often. Overall, for the price, I think this is a great little mouse, IF it's the right size for your hand! Read more
