Such a good looking screen. The refresh rate and pixel response times are crazy. I personally love the bigger size. The pixel density is a little low, but it makes it easier to get more frames per second for buttery smooth visuals. I honestly love it. Gaming feels like a brand new experience. I wish there was a dedicated KVM button, since I swap devices regularly, but I can live without it. Maybe not the best value monitor, but worth it. Read more

Monitor completely/randomly stopped working after 45 days (15 days after the return window). I contacted Acer support, went through their troubleshooting steps, then returned the monitor in the original packaging. I received a call from Acer support - the monitor arrived with a cracked screen and was no longer eligible for warranty repair (screen was in tact when I sent it, but the monitor itself would not power on or display a picture). Since Acer provided the shipping label and did not provide insurance (I would have paid to send it myself with insurance if I had been made aware of this), I am not able to file a FedEx claim for the full amount. Instead Acer sent me a FedEx complaint form to file on my own that may, or may not, entitle me to a $100 reimbursement for damages. Acer also offered to repair the screen for an additional $475. I paid $500 for this monitor on sale, it is currently between $700-$900 if you can find it. Basically, I got to use this very nice, very expensive monitor for 45 days and am now out the full cost (minus maybe $100, depending on FedEx generosity). I will never purchase another Acer product of any kind, ever again. Company does not stand behind their products, their warranty, or their support team. Read more

The "Acer Predator X27U" once shipped arrived quickly and in excellent condition, working perfectly. The first thing I did was update the firmware to 2.0. The image quality, contrast and colors are fantastic. The HDR is great and the brightness is more than enough; I feel comfortable with the brightness at 50% and more brightness is too much. The matte finish seems perfect to me and eliminates the annoying reflections that "glossy" finishes produce. Most importantly, this monitor does not cause headaches, vertigo or dizziness, is less eye straining and gentler on the eyes than any IPS. With AMD Fluid Motion Frames and a 7800 XT video card I can run most games closer to 240 fps (or more). The 26.5" size is very suitable for a desktop and I expect a 27" or 28" version with 4k @ 240Hz will be available in the near future. Cons: The headphones output produces digital noise that I have not been able to eliminate. Read more

Great Monitor for the price. This replaced an old 1ms IPS I had for a few years, also Acer, that one worked great with many years and hundreds of hours gaming on it so I went out on a limb and got another Acer. This is my first OLED, I mostly only game besides some basic computer work/emails etc. Picture quality is amazing with a little tweaking. Held my review for first few months and now after a few months of use it continues to hold up and have had no issues. Great OLEDmonitor especially given the price! Read more

Monitor itself is relative sturdy and good quality in picture, contrast, color, etc. My issue is this ridiculous OLED burn-in warning message that - Cannot be turned off - Cannot be MOVED - Cannot be made transparent like the rest of the on screen display - Doesn't seem to reset after turning my display off all night - Constantly pops up while I am playing my games This is an atrocious flaw in an otherwise wonderful product. The fact that Acer knows this is an issue and just refuses to find any solution to appease those of us it affects is poor customer service and I won't ever buy another Acer product again because of it. Way too much money to spend on a display to have to reach and turn off a warning every 30 minutes. Read more

Absolutely love this monitor. I'm a software architect so I'm in front of a computer all the time. I was using 2 monitors at home and 3 at the office. Changed the 2 at home out for this one, and had work buy me a second for the office to get rid of 2 "main" monitors there. Having a single large ultra-wide monitor makes like so much better. There wasn't enough room on the smaller monitors for multiple windows, and I hated having a window across 2 monitors. This monitor is bright, easy to read, and really, there's not much to complain about. The one thing I could is the timer that pops up every four? hours (doesn't seem that long) to prevent image burn-in. The process takes like 5+ minutes though. So I run it when I'm getting up to go to lunch or about to get ready for the day through the on-screen menu. Read more

Absolute trash. the first and most annoying part, is you get this pop up notification for "image retention" even while in the middle of gaming. notification pops up every hour if u select "no" and every 4 hours if u select "yes." and if u select yes, ur down 5 mins on a black screen. literally cannot think of a true gamer on this planet that would love to have that as a feature. i could understand if the monitor was in idle for so long. but no, does matter what ur doing. on top of that, when the monitor goes to sleep mode. there was 50/50 chance that i couldnt get the monitor to turn back on. just kept getting a no signal. the only fix was for me to use my second monitor and restart my pc. then it was able to work again. graphics are decent, is literally the only positive thing i can say about this monitor. but i would, 10 times out 10, buy any 1080p monitor over this pile of overpriced garbage. if i had to label it, "annoying" would be the best word to describe it.
