The Acer QC department needs an assesment...

This absolutely gorgeuous display is ruined by the low quality shipping they do. This is the second X32 monitor I've ordered from Acer refurbished. One from their eBay site and the second one from here. Hoping i would have a better experience via amazon, i ordered and to my surprise they both come in the same low quality box with no protective film or anything to protect the display. Both monitors had the same sizeable scuff marks on the display where the bubble wrap contacts the screen and its not something that can be wiped or rubbed off. A simple plastic film or thin foam would easily prevent this, but it seems they just refurbish the monitors and stick them in boxes on a shelf until they ship. To make matters worse, Acer ships through FedEx and they have made it so someone over 18 HAS to be there with a Photo ID to sign for the package, or they won't deliver it. (I work when FedEx delivers to my area, so this was a giant PITA.) If you can get this monitor brand new or used, do that. Do NOT go through Acer's refurbish program. Read more
