Works well on acne and also molluscum! Wish it would be just a tad more sticky but overall it does the job and I am honestly surprised! I thought these wouldn’t do as well as they did. These patches are just as effective as the more expensive brand that I’ve been using for about 3-4 years now. I decided to give these a whirl because you get twice the amount of patches for about 70% of the price of the other brand that I’ve been very loyal to. My regular brand sells 80 multi-sized patches for $14.50 & they do work well, but they used to have decent discount sales on their patches pretty often, but I haven’t seen them go on sale in probably a year now, so I just wanted to try an alternative that uses basically the same ingredients. These are truly no different other than that they’re a bit thicker & they do have a strong smell when you pull the patch sheet out of the sealed packaging. The other brand doesn’t have the odor, but if you can get past the pungent smell (which I can), these are a hit & I’ll be ordering more soon, especially as we move into summer & my skin gets more oily with more frequent breakouts, unfortunately. Overall good value for the cost. And I love the variety of sizes. Definitely a few things that bother me though... Hard to get off the plastic without folding the edge - makes it pretty impossible to get them looking “invisible”. They definitely do work to an extent ...they draw out the imperfections (and it’s satisfying to see them when removed) but never seem to get it all out, less so than other brands I’ve tried. Prior to purchasing these, I had tried the nexcare patches. These patches are very sheer but also have a bit of translucence that sort of blurs the redness making blemishes barely noticeable. You can see this in the photos I shared. They are thinner than the nexcare version which at first seemed like lower quality, but as I’ve used them I’ve found that the thinner patch allows it to mold to whatever shape and adhere better. This also gives them a little stretch and allows them to flex with you if they’re in a place that moves. For me, these patches do 3 things: they reduce the redness, gooey-ness of blemishes and they, conceal the blemish, and they prevent me from touching or picking at the blemish. All of this means the spot is less noticeable and heals much faster! Sometimes it just takes overnight! A couple negatives: Right out of the package, I thought they were just a little bit smelly. These patches have tea tree oil and it gives them a distinct smell. Once I have them on though, I don’t notice it. The other issue I have is that these are thin and very sticky and sometimes when I’m trying to remove from package an edge will curl in and stick to itself. It takes some fiddling to figure out how to avoid this so that the patch adheres nice and smooth. Overall though, this is one of the best products I have used for blemish treatment! I have ordered these acne patches a few times and love them. They stay stuck on the skin for a long time. I have even slept with them on my face and none come off in the morning. They work well with getting the gunk out. Most times when I take them off there is a white dot where the grossness was pulled out. I will say that sometimes it takes putting a patch on 2-3 times before the zit goes away completely but it works well nonetheless. You can use these just about anywhere and they stick well and get rid of the zits. I do not wear makeup so I am not sure if they can be worn under makeup, but I would guess not because even though they are clear, they are somewhat thick. So makeup would probably not cover these up 100 percent. If you want ones you can wear under makeup I would recommend getting thinner ones. All in all I would really recommend!! Also, they come in three different sizes which is a bonus! So it’s good for multiple sized acne spots. Finally, a suggestion I have is to press it on firmly and press for a few seconds to make sure it has fully adhered to your skin. Wear these for at least 6 hours if you can, too. Read more
