It's easy to make with hot water and provides a nice alternative to coffee. Prefer your drink iced? Try it iced with oat or almond milk and some honey. I've had this as my alternative to coffee in the morning and I've also had it as an afternoon boost after my morning coffee. Whether you're a coffee-only drinker or already a matcha enthusiast, I recommend that you try this out and include it in your morning routine. The flavor is slightly more accentuated, but I’ve had other matcha teas that are more accentuated without the added caffeine. I would recommend giving this a try. It’s exactly what it’s advertised to be. I docked a star, because true matcha drinkers will notice, it tastes a bit differently, a little tart. I drink it with lemonade, so I’m fine with it. Other people complain about the price, but it’s fairly priced, when compared with Ceremonial grade matcha. I do think the scoop in the packaging is wasteful. Just more plastic to fill our landfills with, where I would prefer that cost to be replaced by a bit more matcha. I’ve given this months of trial. I thought I was just making the matcha wrong or maybe my sweetener (sweetened condensed milk) had gone bad but i bought another matcha from wegmans and it was totally fine with the same sweetener. The taste of this matcha is so bitter and does not even taste like matcha. It didn’t really give me an energy boost either. It’s just been sitting in my kitchen. I was really excited for this. I gave it a fair try on and off for a few months but i can’t get over the taste let alone that it doesn’t give u the energy u need which was the whole point of buying it. might’ve fell for a marketing scam :/ Read more
