My dog loves sticking his head out the window. I was constantly having to hold his leash to keep him from going out to far which also made it hard to drive. This is perfect. I usually put a harness on him so it clips right into the harness or onto their collar and the other end goes into the seatbelt clasp. Super easy to put on. The length is adjustable so I can control just how far he can go. He hasn't tried to chew it but it seems to be good quality and not so easy to chew through. I would highly recommend!! Read more

We had a seatbelt harness for our previous dog, but this new puppy is much bigger and doesn’t fit in it. So, we shopped around and settled on a harness for the dog and this car harness to attach to the dogs harness. It was easy to buckle into the seatbelt buckle and just stays in the car for the dog. She hops right in and lets us attach this to her harness and rides very calmly and confidently. Prior to this she seemed a little unsteady on the seat and flitted around, never settling, even though my teen daughter rides in the back with her. Now, she just sits on her own side of the car, looks out the window and seems very comfortable. Thankfully, we’ve never been in a crash with her, so I don’t know exactly how well this would fair under those circumstances, but she doesn’t fall off the seat anymore if I stop when she’s not expecting it.
