I have a small dog, 7 lbs, and faux leather backseats. She always wants to jump up into the front seat, which makes me anxious and a friend recommended one of these. As a first time dog owner, I will do anything to keep my dog safe. I was pleased to discover how EASY it is to use this. Simply click it into the seat belt end and clip your pup in and boom! Done. It gives my pup enough space to go between the two windows, without going OUT the windows, and keeps her from jumping up into the front seat. The build feels pretty sturdy, like a wider dog leash with elasticity and same for the clip as well. It's not plastic, it's a nice metal clip. The leash doesn't seem to cause her any discomfort, she'll lie down and take a nap when she's done running from window to window. I feel MUCH more comfortable having her clipped/buckled in case of anything happening. DEFINITELY use a harness with this, it could easily choke your poor pup if you only use a collar!! Read more

These dog seat belts are of really good quality. You can adjust them to be shorter or longer to fit your dog’s needs. I attach one end to my dog’s harness and the other end to the back of the headrest bar. Don’t ever attach it to your dog’s collar as it can crush their trachea and kill your dog. It is a great relief to know my dog is seat belted in just Incase I have an accident. Very happy with my purchase. Read more
