This actually makes me want to check my weight! It is easy to read, even in the dark. The analog numbers are large and it flashes three times when the weight is set. The wood is a different touch which I like about this model. My bathroom is almond fixtures, beige tile, and oak trim. This model goes well and is not too large, and nice enough to leave out. I like it so much I am purchasing another one in black for the guest bathroom. I replaced a scale that was always using up batteries and had extra features that were so complicated it didn't get used. If you are looking for a scale that will tell you your weight and that's all you need, this one is perfect! Read more
This is not really a 2-in-1 Analog & Digital Weighing Scale. Rather the analog display is a digipot or a digitally controlled analog display similar to that in dashboards of vehicles. Why this matters is that a true analog display would continue to function when there is no power applied and would give a physicall resistence measurement that would be more accurate and consistent. As is I can step on/off the scale and get 3 to 5 pound variations in measurements each time within a 2 minute window. A truly analog scale would be more consistent and could be used even if the batteries do not have a charge. I wanted this as part of an off grid component. It should be more clear this is a digipot. Start malfunctioning less then 1 month after light use. Specifically starts as if I had weight on and would go back and forth on numbers. Also started to produce false readings skewing weight reading by almost 40-60%. Don’t recommend. Also it not a TRUE mechanical / digital scale, it’s and all electric and the mechanical side of it actually powered. Read more
