So much for the 'shockproof feature'!!! I bought two of these within two weeks of each other, and one of them died in the first week - I did a checkdisk etc., and AFTER fixing it, I accidentally dropped it 3 inches, and NOW it won't work at all, freezes my computer. Garbage! And when defragging the other one or copying files to it, you have to stop the process for an hour, or it beeps red for no reason at all. Read more
I use it to back up my data files. I store it in my safety deposit box. It has never been dropped or abused. I went to back-up my computer yesterday, it started to to copy over files then froze. I tried other USB port to no avail. I proceeded to back up my files on my Seagate SHD with no issues. Luckily I keep more than one copy of my data. Read more
The list shows USB 3.1, equipped with USB connector 3 type A but has the speed of the USB 3.0 connector. There is no difference between the USB3.1 connector and the USB 3.0 connector. Does not pass the exam as USB 3.1. Read more
