Totally Honest and Unpaid Review!
I ordered these black gloves to keep dirt & oil from getting all over my hands during bicycle maintenance, etc. It’s difficult for me to find gloves that fit as I’ve a small, 5-inch (from top to bottom) child sized hand. These fit perfectly however there’s NO room to spare so if you have any doubts, order small instead of XS. Imagine the slight pulling (near the wrist) when you put on a glove that is too small yet could still work if one had to make them work- - - though you’d have to put up with the constant urge to keep pulling them up past your wrist. They’ll certainly do the job but you’ll wish you’d gotten them a tiny bit larger. I could’ve gone w size small and been satisfied as long as the quality was the same. So far, I’ve yet to rip even one glove which is rare as I usually accidentally poke a fingernail through when putting one on every dozen or so times. Generally these type of disposable gloves can also stick to your hand/fingers since they’re powderless latex but I had no issues with this brand. I even forgot I had them on. The package arrived fast & product just as seen in the picture. They didn’t have that weird smell that sometimes accompanies items purchased online either. And as described, no type of powder on them which can be annoying, smelly & messy. Personally, I feel they’re the right amount of thickness. The wearer has (at least with the 4mil; I can’t vouch for any other mil) full use of a touch screen cell phone or monitor WITHOUT having to take the gloves off. This is a point I wanted to be sure to make. It’s so annoying to put on your gloves, then remember you need to do something on your phone which means you must take one off and put it on again (unless you’ve got phone slits on the fingers.) What a huge hassle! This is where the thickness comes into play. They’re not too thin. Not too thick. Not all disposable gloves allow the ability for the temperature of ones finger to be felt by the screens sensors although you’d think they would. So keep that in mind. The gloves have also been handy in helping to protect myself from the corona virus. Strong enough so that you’ll feel protected but cheap enough so that you won’t feel like you’re literally just tossing out a quarter every time you throw a pair in the garbage. I also keep a some in my backpack for emergencies since they take up virtually no room whatsoever. You never know when they’ll come in handy. Because they’re black, they don’t stick out as much when I’m riding around but definitely aren’t as unnoticeable as the flesh colored type. All in all, I’m very happy w my purchase and have already referred others whom have placed orders themselves. *Just remember, if unsure about whether to buy extra small or small, go with small. I don’t know the differences between medium and large, etc so I cannot verifiably comment one way or the other. Read more
