Our son always wore a different brand of tennis shoe due to the comfort but he was busting through the soles and toes within weeks. We decided to try another brand of shoes and so happy we did. It looks like these are more durable so far. After 2 weeks of playing in them, daily, they are not even close to being worn through. As a second generation solematch control I had high expectations. The first one was light feeling, flexible, had a unique semi rigid shell, but stable. This one cranks up the cushioning, energy return, and overall rigidity but looses a bit of the supple and light feel. But in return it blends elements of the original barricade boost which felt like you could stomp on the ground all day and feel comfortable.
