This is a great idea and I really like them. I attend a senior fitness class three times a week and they always run out of weights. I really like being able to adjust the weight based on what we are doing. I gave these a four instead of five because the grip is bulky to hold onto. If you have small hands these might be difficult to hold. i'm guessing that more women that men would buy these. The manufacturer may want to consider a bit smaller grip width. Read more

Great for rehab post surgery.

These are ideal for people going through some type of rehab where starting with low weight values is needed. I'm a guy who just had shoulder surgery recently. Just lifting my arm up over my head was the first goal. What I really like is the ability to increase the weight by 1/2 pound increments just by adding just one magnet weight to one side.
