This weighted vest starts off at 4 lbs and you can add as many of the 6 individual 1 lb weight bags to bring it up to a maximum of 10 lbs. It comes with the bags already in their slots. There are also some elastic cargo nets in front where you could potentially additional add more weights, but they’re probably for storing lighter items like your phone, wallet, keys, etc. One word of warning - when you get this, take it out of the packaging for a few days, preferably near a window or outside as it off-gasses. Sizing: this may be a bit small for some. The normal gap between the shoulder straps is only about 5”, which you can probably stretch out to about 8”. If you move the adjustable click-in fasteners to the ends of the straps, this can probably get out to about a 36” waist comfortably. Read more

TL;DR: The SNUQI 10-pound weighted vest offers balanced weight distribution and surprising comfort during various exercises. Its reflective stripes enhance visibility, while the breathable mesh prevents overheating. Though it only has a front storage pocket, the quick-release buckle and adjustable straps provide a secure fit for all body types. An excellent entry-level resistance addition that stays in place during movement without restricting mobility. Design & Construction The SNUQI weighted vest features a sleek black design with reflective gray stripes, making it both aesthetically pleasing and visible during early morning or evening workouts. Measuring approximately 13 inches in length, the vest distributes its 10-pound weight evenly across the torso, with weight pockets accessible from the front mesh panel. The construction uses durable nylon fabric with reinforced stitching at stress points. The mesh panels significantly improve breathability, which proves crucial during intense training sessions when overheating becomes a concern. Comfort & Fit The adjustable straps and quick-release buckle allow for a secure, customized fit across different body types. The shoulder straps are adequately padded, preventing uncomfortable digging or chafing even during extended wear. The vest's compact profile allows for a full range of motion during various exercises. One minor drawback is that the mesh pocket is only available on the front, limiting storage options. However, this single pocket is sufficient for small essentials like keys or a workout card. Performance At 10 pounds, this vest provides enough resistance to enhance bodyweight exercises without overwhelming beginners. I found it particularly effective for walking, running, calisthenics, and hiking. The weight remains stable during movement, with minimal bouncing or shifting, even during high-impact activities. The evenly distributed weight design means it doesn't strain any particular muscle group disproportionately, reducing the risk of injury while still providing effective resistance training. Versatility This vest excels in versatility, seamlessly integrating into various workout styles from cardio to strength training. It's equally effective for increasing intensity in everyday activities like walking the dog or climbing stairs, which is mostly what I use it for. Durability After several weeks of consistent use, the vest shows minimal signs of wear. The plastic buckle feels sturdy, and the fabric has maintained its integrity despite exposure to sweat and outdoor elements. Overall Value For fitness enthusiasts looking to add moderate resistance to their workouts without investing in bulkier equipment, the SNUQI 10-pound weighted vest offers excellent value. Its combination of comfort, durability, and versatility makes it a worthwhile addition to a home fitness setup. Read more

This is a nice vest. It’s nice that you can adjust the weight by removing the little bags. This allows you to build up your strength and tolerance. However, I don’t really like that you have to put it on over your head. I prefer one you put your arms though first. Read more
This vest seems to be decently well-made and is comfortable. The belts stay in place, the pockets might come in handy, and the reflectors are a great idea! The compactness makes it easy to stow. It really isn't bulky. An added bonus is that it is filled with sand, so there is no chemical exposure. It's of a great size to be worn by small or medium-sized people, but it may be too small for some, especially if you're large-chested. My only complaint: The alphabet soup stitching on the front looks a little ridiculous. Read more
