Love this weighted vest! It has been a game changer to my workouts especially my walks. It is an actual vest and I love the comfort of it. The quality is good and durable and it is a versatile vest. The base weight is 11lbs and that has been perfect for my fitness level. The individual weighted bags can be added and allows me to increase the weight up to 20lbs for body weight exercises or for my husband to use the vest at the heavier weight. Wasn’t sure what to get when looking for a weighted vest, but bought this based on reviews and other factors. I got the 11-20lb unit and it’s plenty (I started at 175lbs body weight). PA suggested 5-10% of body weight so this meets guideline. Side snaps are good although I ended up tie wrapping them because there’s extra long straps to accommodate different body sizes and the length would rub on my arms. The tie wraps fixed that. Weight fits comfortably over shoulders and equally rests on chest and back. It’s held up well and dried out pretty quickly when I’ve had a couple of rainy treks. Overall, a good purchase and it’s made a meaningful difference in my fitness goals. I’ve lost nine pounds in eighteen days using it (combined with some sensible nutrition). My walks are now challenging workouts without being a massive jump from what used to be a leisurely stroll. I’m in my 60s. Read more

This vest is a great addition to my workouts - kicking it up a notch for hikes or bike rides. I would have given it a 5 if one of two issues had been different: I had received the newest version, as the older version feels like you're wearing a small sandwich board, or instead of having to put it on over your head, it was put on like a vest. I did solve this last problem (it felt like I was putting on a coat of mail when I put it over my head) by laying the vest flat out, then lying down with my head positioned so I could bring the top part over and, voila, it's on. The pockets are just right for a cell phone and a water bottle. I love that the weight is adjustable and it's not bulky. Others have complained about the smell, but at least for me, after a few days outside, it was not noticeable. I do wish the fit could be adjusted more. I'm 5'7" and about 125-130 lbs, and even cinched as tight as possible, it rattles around a bit. Overall, I'm very pleased with it. Read more

It’s heavy but if you want to keep your bones strong you need to lift weight. I wear it around the house for an hour a day and it helps to build bone density. Don’t become a hunchback…. Fight back against aging poorly. Read more

Safety belt seems stitched on inside out. Would not be an issue if it was a pass through loop that could be rotated or it had reflective material on both sides. One could argue that on the front, it loops around the clasp visible part out, but the back and side where you need it most remains reflective in ... because let's face it, one sees traffic in front of you. Deceptively small. Unlike pictured on the site. it measures only 13" tall/long for a vest. The models are either very short and small; some digital editing is involved; or maybe just small people with a bigger model? Looks strange to have a half length vest on. Read more
