These I wore that 'Yall' In like a copper bronze (ordered in Brown). Had a kinda shine to the color (had to get use to that but oh-well) Material is the best blessing in stretch-worthy areas, and if you're like me - I love a sort of crop length (not to short or long at 5.6' but of course heights make the length. I'm all about a basic black pant, but this pair left me underwhelmed. The material is really thin. It's soft and comfortable enough but still doesn't seem worth the price to me. I ordered my usual size 12 (I'm 5'4", 160 pounds) and they fit well so I suggest ordering true to size. They are not see-through. I didn't find them to be especially stretchy and therefore, on me at least, not terribly flattering. Overall, I'm underwhelmed. Read more
These Adriana Papell pants are top of the line dress pants! The cut is very flattering, even on my curvier frame. The fabric is a perfect mid-weight for summer, and the length makes them professional looking while still being cool and comfortable in any office environment or temperature. I was looking for a simple pair of dress pants, so I figured I would give these a shot. I like the style. The fabric is good quality and the pants look great. The only problem is that they run small. I ordered an extra large and they fit me like they were a large. If you order a size up, they will absolutely be great, comfortable dress pants. Read more
Living in the Southwest, I typically don't wear dark colors during the summer. However, I can wear these slacks! They're lightweight, super comfortable, and very flattering. The only thing that would make them perfect is if they had pockets. This isn't a big issue for me, as I'd gladly trade pockets for lightweight fabric. lol What sets these slacks apart from others of their type are the front slits. They aren't common, which I like, and they add a little pizazz to otherwise plain black pants. Something interesting that I noticed- and of course, this is just my personal opinion- is that these slacks look great with flats, sandals, and high heels. They look a bit frumpy with low or short heels. I have no problem with this, but some might and as I said, your taste and style will be different than mine. I just thought it was worth mentioning. Ordered these pants even though I wasn't sure if I would like the front slits or not. Decided I wasn't a big fan, but that is just a preference thing. Ordered according to the size chart and it was correct. The material feels soft and of good quality, has some stretch to it. Has a nice seam down the front of the pant legs which gives a dressy look.
