Advance Self-Collecting Nail Clipper - B 916 Combo Carbon Steel Large Jaw Curve Bladed Grey Plated - Green

I wanted these because I am so tired of constantly having to replace nail clippers in my house. I was also excited at the prospect of containing the nail clippings of my family members. These clippers are impressively sharp. Some family members had trouble cutting their tough, thick nails with all the others we’ve tried. They would often either break off the nail leaving a messy, jagged edge or not cut the nail at all. No one has had to struggle with these. They make a clean cut every time on all nails and leave smooth edges. The self catching tray doesn’t work as well as I’d hoped. It catches and holds nail clippings as long as you hold clippers cutting edge up at all times. It may sound easy enough, but I’ve found that it’s all too easy to accidentally dump the clippings while trimming nails. I do wish the tray clipped on and stayed in place until removed. It can and does slide at times and has been removed when it becomes annoying. Overall, I find these clippers to be high quality and would recommend them to family and friends. I do hope the design of the tray gets improved upon to make these even better. I will be seeking out other Nghia grooming products. Read more

These clippers are very good quality, very sharp, good for finger and toe nails. They do exactly what they were designed to do, they store the clippings inside the clippers until you dump them out. When you clip it your nail falls into the catcher then you can easily dispose of your nail trimmings after. No more stepping on nail clippings that you thought you picked up! These are very sharp so I would only recommend using them on yourself or any kids that will sit still enough for you to trim their nails. The cutting power first and foremost is great to easily trim nails. The catch is awesome to avoid nails flying all around and possibly getting lost especially on a carpet. If you tilt it forward too much while trimming then it will empty out though so be careful to keep the right angle! Read more
