Too sharp for garlic
This thing is sturdy, SHARP, and perfect for large items when you don’t need to grate the whole item. However for smaller items, like garlic, you will surely cut yourself trying to grate the whole thing. My old grater dish was sharp enough to grate food, but gentle enough to not cut me. This one wastes a bunch of garlic since I can only safely grate about half a clove. Read more

Works well with ginger, turmeric root, and garlic. Eventually, you are scraping your fingers for the last bits. I haven’t figured out a better way. I wash it in my dishwasher with no problems. Read more

Works perfectly! I've never used this kind of grater before and was pleasantly shocked. It easily grates garlic and ginger and doesn't hurt if you rub your finger against it. I love that it was the little bowl area on the outer rim for the already grated pieces. While it is a little difficult to clean I do have the stronger stream sink which pushes all the leftover product out. Overall I highly recommend this item! Read more
