Not bad at all. I have to say as my first time using these, I'm happy with my purchase. I keep the ice roller (pink one) wrapped up in the freezer in a bag to keep it protected. It needs a little movement before use but then its fine. Feels good on my face and did help with some of the puffiness and redness. The design of the jade roller and massager is not bad at all.
