These are thin but very absorbent and well made. They are great travel towels and dry pretty fast compared to standard towels. I'd say about 50% less time in the same conditions. Because they are thin, a little slick and have more surface area actually making contact with your skin, they have a tendency to roll up some as you swipe across your skin; compared to a cotton towel that glides over your skin. I just make sure some of the towel is gathered in between my fingers or I grab a piece in my hand as I use it.
