My wife is attending an awards gala where many guests will be in costume. She decided not to dress as a character but still wanted something “snazzy” for the event. I was thrilled to find these sequined pants for her. This admittedly over-the-top pants look and fit her better than I imagined. While the sequins have a golden-pink tone, the overall effect is shiny black, which means she can pair these pants with any number of tops. With a black blazer they add a little sophisticated glitz, but with metallic gold they can be much bolder. I was nervous about ordering a Large when she usually wears size 14 pants, but they fit perfectly. The stretchy waistband works with her mama tummy. These pants are great for when you want to wear something fun, but they are not "nice" enough to wear to anything fancy - they look too cheap for that plus the sequins snag on everything. The sleeves of your top (given the type of fabric) will snag on your pants, and in-between your thighs will stick together. So watch out for that. I have other higher quality sequin pants that don't have that problem. But, just for a night of fun out with the girls I would go for it! I wear a size 18W/20W and am 5'6" so I got the XXL which is my usual size. They fit well except a bit snug through the belly. I wear a longer top to cover that area. Read more

These sequin jogger-style pants are so much fun! I got them to use for dancing and went with the size Large. I am usually a small or medium, but I sized up to make sure I would have my full range of motion for different dance moves. The waist is stretchy and true to the 30in the chart said the large would have, but I feel that overall, these do run small. I am also not a tall person (only 5'4) and feel that these may feel weirdly short for taller gals. If you are ok with a tighter or shorter fit, then I guess this wouldn't be an issue. Otherwise, size up! They're quite comfortable, despite running smaller. The inner lining is delightfully silky feeling, and they are very breathable. I didn't feel overheated in these pants, even though I was getting quite a workout while wearing them for practice. The sequins didn't shed or snag. The color of the "black" pants has a really pretty rainbow color shifting effect as you move! I would recommend these, just pay close attention to the size chart (it's written in the lower description of the listing), because you might not want to order the size you're used to wearing. I chose a size small and am happy with the fit. For reference, I am 5'8", 125 lbs., with an average to athletic build. My current measurements are 35-inch bust, 27-inch waist, and 35-inch hips. These pants sit just below my belly button, and the pant legs reach the top of my feet. When I first sat down in these pants, the sequins felt a bit uncomfortable, even with the lining – but I quickly stopped noticing them. The drawstring works on these pants, but I did not find it made much of a difference for me. You cannot go unnoticed in these pants, making them perfect for parties, clubs, or costumes. On the lookout for some dressy long pants for special occasions, these caught my eye. Wish I had these for the New Years/Birthday bash, but there's always next year. These are really comfy, are true to size and even more gorgeous than the photos. Attached to black cloth, sequins are vibrant and appear to be firmly attached. Trying to nail down the colors, sequins appear to be rose color and blue, but in a teal room the mirror ones appear to be teal. Paired with a silk or velvet black shirt, pants are ready to party. It gets better...if I gain or lose a few lbs. before wearing them no worries, the triple elastic waist is very forgiving, while elastic at leg bottoms takes care of fact they're a tad long (otherwise they'd need to be hemmed). I was pleasantly surprised to find that these sequin pants were true to size and actually fit me. I absolutely love the way they look. I feel like a sparkly walking Disco ball. They seem really well made, and are great for party outfits. The pants have a lining that make them comfortable to wear, and the sequins are gorgeous. There's really only one MAJOR design flaw... CON: The sequins on the inner thigh snag really bad. They really should have limited the sequence to the outer leg.. if you have smaller thighs, it won't happen as much, but it will still definitely happen because there are so many small sequins. I have to find a way to pack them, so that I can wear them out regularly. I still gave it a four because they are exactly as advertised, just the snagging is going to be an issue.
