These pants are a good cheap way to look nice on a night out. The tie is nice, and could be tucked in down the legs if you prefer. The pockets are a perfect size in the front. No back pockets. The medium fits me just fine. I am 5 foot four and 140 pounds. However, these are not hiding any lumps so get your spanks on if you need them. I love that they are high waisted, they do cover my belly button. The back does go pretty high on me. In the picture, the black looks to be almost gray. Mine don’t have that grey look – they are pure black. Although I wouldn’t mind the gray look. These pack so well that they would be great for a business dinner while you’re traveling.
