This is a really nice make up sponge. It enlarges once it’s wet. Not really big, but a noticeable difference. The product description claims that it doesn’t show make up stains on it, this is only true after you wash the sponge. The material is nice and it feels very well made. I like this A LOT more than the Beauty Blender, which I feel is cheaply made. I use less make up with this sponge than I do with brushes or other sponges and it blends the make up out evenly and beautifully to where it almost looks like your make up was air brushed on. You can use it dry, too, but I have not tried it. I prefer to use this sponge with my foundation, so it needs to be wet. Overall I feel this sponge is well made and I’m confident it will last a long time. It works beautifully with foundation and blends better than any brush/sponge I have ever used. The media could not be loaded. I really like the way these sponges feel. I am not a makeup expert but I have noticed that the black sponges work better than others I have tried. I AM IN LOVEE!!! I bought this Aesthetica Sponge and a beauty blender at the same time. (I am a professional MUA & I’ve always used brushes) because when I first started doing makeup makeup About 5 years ago I tried a real technique sponge and I did not like it it was way too hard for me. Anyways, lately I’ve had an urge to try a beauty blender but with the price I decided to search online for a dupe and after looking through a few other sponges on here I decided to get this one. Due to the price difference I soooooo wanted to like the beauty blender more Just to validate the price of it, but I don’t. I love these sponges soooo much more. They are A lot softer. Compared to the BB it’s like a luxury velvet sponge where as the BB has a harsher dryer texture. They are thicker, meaning squeezing them takes more muscle than squeezing the BB but in this case it’s perfect because it makes it bouncier so it just bounces right of my face, like a soft bouncy cloud cushion lol where as the BB feels flat and harsh. It also applies makeup a lot better, I did half my face with this and half my face with the BB and after about 20 mins even after setting With Laura Mercier translucent powder the BB Side was creasing an the side with this wasnt. It also cleans easier than the BB & still feels soft after. It took me just a few minutes to get the make up out & it still felt the same as before whereas the BB took soooooo many tries and still has some foundation left In one spot and the color on the BB bled a lot. No color bled on this one. It’s a tad bit bigger than the BB dried and wet but that’s also a plus for me because it applies faster and it sucked up a lot less product than the BB. I LOVE THISSSS Sponge I’ll be returning the BB & buying a lot more of these.
