I don't usually write reviews. I was very hesitant about getting this because it was so much cheaper than the other options. It works perfectly fine. It's plug and play. No issues at all. Very happy with this. I have a 2015 Silverado LTZ with the 5.3 and have been having a lot of issues with the AFM. We all know with the AFM we are going to go through spark plugs and coils at a certain point. I started having transmission issues as well related to the AFM causing constant gear searching, serious lag, long shifts, etc. sometimes just feels like you're pulling a trailer. The transmission learns incorrect shift patterns dropping to 4cyl. So I had to replace a coil again and pretty tired of it at this point. Replaced the coil and also plugged this AFM disabler in. Fixed all my issues that I was having and driving so much better. I was reluctant to chose this being a mid range price point rather than the high dollar units. But this had good reviews and I am very happy with it. This isn't a permanent fix but will get me by until I do a proper AFM delete. Read more

It has consistently kept my truck in V8 mode, which is exactly what I wanted. I had read some reviews mentioning concerns about the device draining the battery, but I personally have not experienced any battery issues while using it. It has worked reliably since I plugged it in. I also saw claims that it could improve fuel economy. I was a bit hesitant as I have a 2024 Blazer RS V6 and the device range is through 2022. There is also a statement that it doesn't work with this motor after the 2023 refresh. However, others in the comments have it installed in 2024 and 2025 vehicles with this motor so I decided to chance it. So far, it works perfectly. 6 cylinder mode all the time and no start/stop anymore (note: the indicator light for start/stop stays on, but the engine never stops at intersections). I'm happy so far! I am using the Afm disabler in a 2019 GMC 1500 with the 5.3 v8. The disabler works great and also stops the automatic start/stop feature. Fuel consumption has increased but not significantly. Read more
