Upon opening, the suit had a nice weight and sway to it, and there was no off-putting scent. I'm a little concerned with how many wrinkles it retained during transport, and the fact that it can't be dried in the dryer, but I will update after laundering. There were a few strings here and there that I had to cut off. The points it lost with that, it gained with real pockets in the blazers (fake pockets in women's wear is a pet peeve of mine), and the pockets are actually pretty good sized. It would have been even better if they'd also included pockets in the pencil skirt, (in case you want to remove the blazer), but perhaps that's just greedy of me. The buttons are cute, the buttonholes are adequately sized, and there is an interior button to create a more fitted look. I didn't realize the back of the blazer was peplum style (when I looked back, there are no photos showing the back, so I couldn't have known). The back of the skirt has pleats and features a small, streamlined back split for extra movement and room in the skirt. I sized up to XL because I dress for comfort but this was pretty accurately sized as far as the blazer goes (fit me perfectly), but the skirt was a little large. There is extra space for wider hips in the skirt, but since it was already too large for me, it made weird indents and dimpled the fabric in that area. It almost looks like there were pockets. This would not happen with all body types though (would look great on someone who was smaller on top, and wider on bottom). I have wide hips though, so it's more for the wide botom/thigh crowd. At just under $40.00 I would expect it to be a more universal fit, but it will be a great price if it fits your body type. I will probably pair the blazer with jeans or other slacks that fit me. If you have a steamer (or time for a quick press), this suit is entirely manageable. If you value a high-quality, professional look and feel that commands attention, buy this suit. This is an excellent suit. I bought it specifically for the color. It is an ideal red. Not orange or too blue. It fits true to the size chart. The elastic waist on the skirt makes for a very comfortable fit all day. The fabric is a knit but has the texture of crepe that elevates the look above a standard ponte knit. When you receive it, remove it from the package and let it relax. It is machine washable but do hang it to dry. I steamed mine after I washed and took pictures and it looks excellent. I want to point out especially the lovely buttons. They are washable and do not need to be removed each time you wash. Also another plus it is not dry cleanable.and I forgot IT HAS POCKETS, The price is excellent. I really like this suit. It makes me feel confident. Read more
